01 Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Teachix (teachix.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Teachix (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

02 About the Platform

Teachix is a free educational platform offering learning resources in Data Engineering, Snowflake certifications (SnowPro), Python, SQL, and Computer Science fundamentals. The Platform provides articles, guides, tutorials, cheat sheets, practice questions, and related content for self-paced learning.

03 User Accounts

Certain features (such as commenting) require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account, notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account, and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

04 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You shall not:

• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or connected systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, extract, or index content from the Platform without our prior written consent.
• Distribute spam, unsolicited promotions, or malware through the Platform.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish Platform content for commercial purposes without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s infrastructure, performance, or availability.

05 Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All original content on the Platform — including but not limited to articles, tutorials, guides, cheat sheets, HTML templates, CSS code, graphics, logos, and the Teachix brand identity — is the intellectual property of Teachix and its creator, Abhay Krishnan, unless otherwise stated. This content is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial educational use (such as reading, note-taking, and sharing links to the original content).

5.2 Third-Party Trademarks

Snowflake, SnowPro, and related logos and names are trademarks of Snowflake Inc. Python is a trademark of the Python Software Foundation. All other trademarks mentioned on the Platform belong to their respective owners. Teachix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations unless explicitly stated.

06 User-Generated Content

By posting comments or other content on the Platform, you grant Teachix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the operation of the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post such content, and that your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove or modify any user-generated content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

07 Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or resources. These links are provided for convenience and reference only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

08 Advertising

The Platform displays advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. These advertisements help support the free availability of our content. Ad content is generated by third-party partners and does not constitute an endorsement by Teachix. We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made in advertisements displayed on the Platform.

09 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Teachix, its creator, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim — which, given Teachix is a free platform, is zero.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Teachix, its creator, and any associated parties from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your user-generated content, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.

12 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

13 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

Before pursuing formal legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, either party may proceed with formal remedies.

14 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
